Three Chickens Confront Existence

Wolk Transfer Company is thrilled to be lead-producing Three Chickens Confront Existence, which earned critical acclaim through two consecutive sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In this surrealist and hilarious production, three factory farm chickens passionately explore their impossible situation – awaiting their imminent trip to the broiler. Tragedy morphs to comedy and back again as they explore mysticism, power struggles, class inequality, mythology and religion, with plenty of emotionally charged antics and surprises along the way. The momentum from The Fringe led to a prestigious encore engagement in London’s West End in September and the production will make its highly anticipated move to New York City for a limited two-week engagement this July.
